The Company

Founded in 2020 as a spinoff from Empa, Swiss Cluster develops patented ALD and ALD-PVD coating technology for industries from medical devices to watchmaking. We create a new class of high-performance coatings — some producible only on Swiss Cluster equipment — delivered through scalable, modular deposition systems, a growing coating services centre, and in-house materials R&D, and supported globally by 16 distribution partners.
